It is not by pure coincidence that the growers of special coffee, those appreciated for their sensorial characteristics of intense flavor and aroma, have chosen the Cerrado Mineiro region for the cultivation of their coffee beans. Comprised of 55 cities located in the northwest of the State of Minas Gerais, the region developed and continues to perfect, a peculiar sowing mode, which involves technologically innovated methods, besides being well positioned in the geographic environment and having in its favor the climatic possibilities, adequate soil and temperature, factors that greatly influence the quality of the coffee beans and the resulting beverage.

Produced at an altitude of between 800m and 1250m, these coffee plantations, gain advantage in the formation and maturation of coffee beans, while the temperature between 18 and 23 degrees offers a freshness at night, as opposed to hot and sunny days. Also, the otherwise, generally flat topography, favors the mechanization of the coffee plantations, as well as its rainfall index of 1,600 mm m per year, which makes the Cerrado Mineiro free from frosts, one of the main risks and threats experienced in competing coffee growing regions. This explains why the product originated from our farming is aromatic, without bitterness and with a distinct lightness. Our product is doubly certified with “Seals” of geographical origin, Cerrado Mineiro Region, and sustainability, and as a result it already maintains a very significant market share in the International and Brazilian Specialty Coffee markets.
